FAQs About Arna's Guestbook

Everything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask

Q: I'm not the greatest writer, should I submit a story?

A: Yes! We're not asking for the Great American Novel. Just write sincerely and don't worry too much about the form or style unless that's very important to you.

Q: I submitted a story but I don't see it on the page. Did I do something wrong?

A: You should receive an email confirming that your story has been submitted. Once submitted, all stories must be reviewed by one of the site administrators. We'll try to approve your post as quickly as possible, but if you're a night owl and submit at 3am or submit on Shabbat it will probably be a few hours.

Q: I tried to upload a photo but it won't let me. What happened?

A: Your file may be too large. There are ways you can compress the size of your photo. Check your computer's photo software.

Q: I don't really have a story to share, I just want to be able to wish Arna good luck. Can I do that?

A: Absolutely. You can also just say, "thank you."

Q: I posted a story, but can I change it?

A: Sure, just email joshf@washingtondcjcc.org and we'll make the changes.

Q: Is there anything I shouldn't write about?

A: We're asking you to observe the "Three C's." Keep it clean, cordial and complimentary.

Q: Can I post more than once?

A: Sure.

Q: Is this a surprise or can I say something to Arna?

A: It's not a suprise...although there will be surprises to come. Feel free to let her know you've posted.
