If you're just beginning to learn ballroom steps and patterns, then this is the class for you!
This season LGBT Ballroom Dance class (Beginner Level I) covers two fabulous dances: Foxtrot and Cha-Cha.
Each class will explain basic ballroom steps, movements and patterns. It will build your confidence on the dance floor and give you an opportunity to dance with a partner in a safe and pleasant environment with other LGBTQ people.
Dancers of all genders, couples and single dancers are invited to join and to dance. The course is designed to introduce you to ballroom dance and how to have fun!
Peter Pawlak is an experienced ballroom dancer with more than 14 years of professional dancing. Born in Warsaw, Poland, Peter brings the European style of ballroom dance to the Washington area. He started dancing at the age of seven and soon thereafter he found himself competing on dance floors across Europe. Peter won various European prizes for dance. He teaches ballroom dance in studios in the Washington metropolitan area.
