Volunteer Night at Capital Area Food Bank

Volunteer your time with the EDCJCC at the Capital Area Food Bank!

What: Join us for an evening of volunteering to support the Capital Area Food Bank's efforts in ending food insecurity in our region. Working in the distribution center is a great way for volunteers to support the Capital Area Food Bank on the front lines of the distribution process. You'll be helping to sort and pack donated food items along with other EDCJCC volunteers.

When: Tuesday, August 17 from 5:30-8:00pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early so you are prepared to start promptly at 5:30pm.

Where: 4900 Puerto Rico Avenue, NE Washington, DC 20017. Parking is available onsite.

Requirements: In accordance with the DC Government and CDC recommendations, all volunteers are required to wear a mask or face covering at all times in the facility over their mouth and nose. Due to CAFB's limited supply of masks we are asking volunteers to please bring their own masks. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes.

We welcome volunteers ages 12+ to sign up! Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

Registration: Registration is required for this event. Please click on the ticket icon or the "sign me up" button to proceed to registration.

Time: 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
