School Supplies Drive for Community of Hope

What: COVID-19 has exacerbated economic challenges already faced by families experiencing homelessness. As schools prepare to reopen this fall, we want to help students served by our close partner organization, Community of Hope get a head start with the proper school supplies they need. Join us to provide school supplies for students at Community of Hope!

We're recruiting volunteers to create packed zipper pouches/school boxes filled with the essential items students need to be successful.

Each school supply kit must include:

  • Small school box or zipper pouch
  • 12-Pack of no. 2 pencils
  • 2 Large erasers
  • 3 Glue sticks
  • 2 Highlighters

When: Fully packed kits should be dropped off at the EDCJCC front desk between July 18th and July 30th. The EDCJCC is open Saturday-Sunday 10am-6pm, Monday-Thursday 6am-8pm, and Friday from 6am-4pm.
