EDCJCC Virtual Strength Training for Runners Class with Running Coach Danielle Hirt “Coach D”

Even as COVID-19 spreads, we strongly believe running remains essential to a healthy lifestyle and can still be done safely following the CDC’s recommended social distancing measures. While thinking about ways to serve our fitness center running community in accordance with local and federal guidelines, we are inviting you to our first “Virtual Strength Training for Runners” trial class with running coach Danielle Hirt.

Event Details:

• Day: Every Tuesday  
• Time: 5:30-6:15pm

Class Description:

• This class is designed to help you build strong legs, core and upper body - all muscles needed to improve your running speed and form.
• This class will not bulk you up but will use bands, light weights and plyometrics to build lean muscle.
• Throw away your generic training plans and get a dynamic, Virtual Training Program that you can follow no matter where you are.
• The goal is to help you get to the start healthy and with an achievable goal time. Workouts designed to help keep you injury free!

About Danielle Hirt aka Coach D
Danielle (Coach D) is a seasoned marathoner and distance runner. She has over a decade experience coaching runners and athletes of all abilities. Her specialties include strength training for runners, Couch to 5K, middle distance (5 miler & 10 miler) and long distance (half & full marathon) training. Danielle is passionate about helping others learn to run pain free and build strength & endurance to complete their running goals. Danielle is an RRCA Certified Running Coach, NASM Personal Trainer, TRX Instructor, Corrective Exercise Specialist and Senior Fitness Specialist. She believes that nothing is impossible, the word itself reads I'm Possible.
