Day of Awe-some: Rosh Hashanah Concert with the EDCJCC
Join us for a virtual High Holiday celebration! Rock out to the music of award-winning Jewish educator and performer Jason Mesches and his newest album I Wanna Go To Mars, and participate in a community service project designed for all ages and benefiting local homeless youth. Together, we’ll celebrate Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) spiritually together, but physically apart in an atmosphere that welcomes everyone and caters to families.
The concert is FREE, but we are offering an add-on Rosh Hashanah goodie bag, which will be available for contactless pickup at the EDCJCC. In this bag, you will receive a music shaker, blow-up guitar, shofar, stickers, locally sourced honey, art projects, a snack, grape juice, and more. Bags are sponsored by the JFamily Ambassadors program and cost $18.00. You can also support all Jewish Life, JxJ, and JFamily programs by getting a "Mensch ticket," which includes a Rosh Hashanah bag and supports the Edlavitch DCJCC in our future programming.
Sponsored in memory of Elona Shaffert by the Shaffert/Brenner Family.
The Family Concert is presented by the Washington Jewish Music Festival as part of JxJ’s year-round programming. The Howard and Geraldine Polinger Family Foundation is the lead sponsor of The Washington Jewish Music Festival
