Mask-making

Community of Hope is one of the city’s largest providers of services for families transitioning out of homelessness. Join us over zoom to meet this incredible organization and learn about the huge challenges facing families experiencing homelessness in DC.

After getting to know Community of Hope a bit, take out your needle, thread, and fabric for an easy tutorial on making face coverings you can donate to Community of Hope or other agencies serving folks in DC! This interactive, step-by-step portion of the program will be taught by the talented Emily Landsman. You do not need a sewing machine or any prior experience to join us.

Learn to sew for a good cause, sip a cold beverage, make new friends, and meet an awesome non-profit organization!
