Sleep is one of the most common and vexing challenges for parents. This workshop will address how to develop good sleep habits from the start, and how to address typical challenges that arise in helping children learn to soothe themselves to sleep and stay asleep throughout the night.
About Claire Lerner
Claire Lerner, L.C.S.W.-C is a licensed clinical social worker, child development specialist, and Director of Parenting Resources at ZERO TO THREE where she oversees development of all parenting content, including on Its Web site and in numerous publications.
Ms. Lerner has written columns for Parenting: The Early Years and American Baby Magazines. She is frequently quoted in other Parenting publications and has been a source on early childhood development for numerous national daily newspapers such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, the Boston Globe and the London Times.
Ms. Lerner has been a practicing clinician for over 25 years, providing parent education and consultation to families with young children. She also trains early childhood professionals and pediatricians on early childhood development and working effectively with parents.
Claire has participated on numerous national advisory panels and task forces related to early child development including the National Parenting Education Network and the American Academy of Pediatrics' Committee on Early Childhood Development.
Claire is also the parent of 2 spirited children, Sam (22) and Jess (20).
