Join local congregations for a Shabbat in Song. This community-wide celebration of Shabbat and music will highlight musical services and events around Washington, DC.

Sing and dance your way to deep kavanah with a musical trio playing new and old melodies for Kabbalat Shabbat.
A "gemach Carlebach" service with melodies by Reb Shlomo zl' and other modern Jewish composers. Led by Rabbi Sunny Schnitzer on guitar, noted Kabbalist Jay McCrensky on accordion, and Karen Cole on bass, join us and learn why the Forward recognized Rabbi Schnitzer as one of America's most inspiring rabbis. Nitivim L'Shabbat is sure to change your weekend for the better.

The Temple Micah Youth Choir (grades 2-4) will enhance the beauty of the Kabbalat Shabbat service at Temple Micah on Friday, May 3. The Youth Choir sings on the first Friday evening of every month during the school year. The service is followed by a festive Shabbat dinner for the singers and their families.
