Friends of Stead Park invites you to a public meeting at the DCJCC, October 3, 7:00–8:30 pm, to review and comment upon a plan to re-design our beautiful park. It is the only public meeting planned for this important discussion. As many of you know, the Stead Park field absorbs heavy use from various leagues, camps, schools and everyday neighbors. The re-design process for the field area will offer our community the opportunity to comment upon the value of improving some existing facilities, including resurfacing the playing fields, and adding to the park’s existing beauty—such as installing new shade trees and maybe introducing some new features!
