FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1) Where do we meet?
On N Street NW, between 23rd and 24th (Closer to 24th)
YELLOW Section - Look for the GLOE banner and t-shirts.

2) What time do I have to be there?
We need to be lined up at 3:30 pm.

3) What should I bring/wear?
Sunscreen, comfortable shoes, and a positive attitude.
If you've got a GLOE t-shirt, great! If you have other items that "read" Jewish or LGBT you'd like to wear, great! If you just want to wear your usual warm-weather wear, great!

4) Can I bring my own Jewish LGBT sign?
Yes! As long as it's not vulgar or disrespectful, we welcome creative, supportive signs.

5) What is the parade route?
The parade goes through Dupont and Logan. (Parade route map)

6) Can I bring a friend? Even if they aren't Jewish/LGBT/etc?
Yes! All are welcome!

7) What will we be doing, exactly?
We will be waving and smiling, perhaps a little group singing. (However, with Capital Queer Prom playing music right behind us, it will probably be a quick group shout of, "Shabbat Shalom!" to the crowd in between their songs.

We'll also be throwing candy and some GLOE-related swag. We take turns carrying the banner.

8) Any other questions (not answered by the Capital Pride website)?
Contact Halley Cohen at 202-777-3253 or halleyc@washingtondcjcc.org.
