Survivors_2.JPG

Join us, as the last generational link to the Holocaust, for a unique opportunity to socialize and assist Holocaust survivors in sunny South Florida. This is the chance to interact with a population in need of socialization while enjoying Miami Beach with other Jewish Young Professionals. With survivors passing away, we need to hear their stories so we can pass them on...and you can help!

JUNE 14-18 (Fly out Thursday night and return Monday afternoon)

This Service Trip will provide a unique opportunity for you to:

*Learn to communicate the history as the last generational link

*Socialize with Survivors who are more likely than other elderly people to be socially isolated

*Strengthen your Jewish identity and connect to our Jewish history

*Challenge yourself to a more complex participation in your Jewish life

*Train with social workers on the unique needs of Holocaust survivors

*Ensure that survivors live the remainder of their lives in dignity while learning from them

*Upon return we will provide opportunites for you to continue working with survivors in DC
