Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 12th Annual Washington Jewish Music Festival! Volunteers are the backbone of the festival and are crucial to running successful shows. We welcome you to sign up to volunteer for any concert during the Festival. There are various jobs to suit your skills and areas of interest: ticket seller, usher, greeter, reception preparation, offsite festival representative and more! This year the WJMF will be partnering with four outside venues on concerts around the DC Metro area.
As a thank you for volunteering for us, you will receive one free ticket to a Washington DCJCC concert of your choice, subject to availability. Please keep in mind that you won’t be able to see the band playing the night you choose to volunteer.
Be a Volunteer Coordinator!
The volunteer coordinator is in charge of communicating between WJMF staff and the other volunteers. They are extremely important for running the Festival, and will be asked to coordinate volunteers at two concerts. Volunteer coordinators will be trained in advance in all areas of volunteer responsibilities, and on the night of each program coordinators will be asked to come early, delegate responsibilities and train volunteers. Volunteer coordinators will receive a Festival Pass for use on nights they are not coordinating.
To orient yourself to the volunteering process, please download and read the Volunteer Information Sheet.
For more information contact email@example.com.
When you sign up, you will be prompted to fill out a brief required questionnaire. You must fill out this questionnaire in order to complete your volunteer sign-up.
Be a top volunteer recruiter!
If you recruit three or more friends to volunteer at the Washington Jewish Music Festival, you will earn an additional free concert ticket. The top recruiter by May 25 will receive a Festival Pass to attend the entire festival for free! Have your friends put your full name in the optional question on the sign-up page.
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS!
