GLOE (Gay & Lesbian Outreach and Engagement) is teaming up with The Morris Cafritz Center for Community Service (MCCCS) to volunteer at Food and Friends!

Food & Friends is the only organization in the Washington DC area providing specialized, nutritious meals, groceries, nutrition counseling and friendship to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses. Food & Friends cooks, bags and delivers freshly prepared meals and groceries 6 days a week, 52 weeks a year, and has provided more than 9.75 million meals to more than 15,000 individuals since it’s inception.

Come join an excited group of volunteers from 6:00pm-8:00pm to help prepare fresh meals for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses. Your help will have a direct impact on the lives of men, women, and children living with life-challenging illnesses in the Washington, DC area.
