Virtual Yom Ha'atzmaut Celebration

Join us for Virtual Yom Ha'atzmaut in a bag. Yom Ha'atzmaut is Israel’s Independence Day, commemorating the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948. We will make yummy Israeli snacks in a bag, and Federation’s shlicha (Israeli emissary) will read an Israeli children’s book in Hebrew and English. Free; Registration Required If you would like to make the snacks with us you will need: 2 ziplock bags, milk, chocolate sauce or cocoa powder, 1 can of chickpeas, juice of one lemon, salt and pepper, handful of cilantro, teaspoon or so of sesame oil or olive oil.
