Make a Visit - D25 2018

While the holiday season is a wonderful time to spend time with family for some, it is the loneliest time of the year for others. Engaging in a conversation with someone can make a big impact.  These projects provide the opportunity to visit seniors, those struggling with mental illness, and people with chronic illnesses one-on-one and in small groups. Whether you are escorting a resident to lunch, playing a game of cards, working on an arts & crafts project or visiting a hospital room, you will have the chance to brighten someone’s day.

To register for one of these projects or learn more about what each specific project entails, please click on the "Sign Me Up!" button and it will take you to a list of links you can click on.

Please note the minimum age requirements to volunteer at your site of choice. These age requirements are not flexible.

We request a $20/person tax-deductible program fee to help us cover the costs of supplies, including gifts for clients, Santa suits, party decorations, arts & crafts, and games. All of the money from program fees except for a small credit card processing fee goes directly towards D25 supplies. If the program fee is in any way a barrier to volunteering please don't hesitate to contact Sonya.
