Join us for a High Holiday exploration of various adaptations of Bernhard Schlink’s novel, The Reader, including the recent screenplay by David Hare. Compare how different versions of the same story portray the novel’s themes of guilt, atonement and forgiveness. Workshop lead by Theater J Associate Producer Delia Taylor.

Delia Taylor has worked at Washington area theaters as an actor, director, stage manager, technician and production manager for over two decades. She directed the world premieres of There Are No Strangers and Sleeping Arrangements at Theater J. She teaches and directs for The Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts. She was honored with Theatre Lobby’s Mary Goldwater Award,  an Offstage Award from the League of Washington Theatres and the Lynn Skolnick Sachs Award for Program Excellence at the DCJCC.
