Have a glass of wine and join Masha Rumer, author of Parenting With An Accent: How Immigrants Honor Their Heritage, Navigate Setbacks, and Chart New Paths for Their Children for a discussion about the joys and challenges of immigrant parenting, including bilingualism strategies and balancing traditions in multicultural and interfaith families. Masha will also present her findings from the in-depth research she did for the book which included interviews with experts and parents as well as a dive into academia.

Masha's writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Parents, Kveller, and others, winning awards from the New York Press Association. She is an immigrant from the former Soviet Union. You can find more about her work at www.masharumer.com.
