Please stop by the DCJCC Community Hall for a fascinating exhibition of stunning and colorful photographs by Washington DC-based photographer Seth Rubin. Join us on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 7:00 for a meet and greet with Mr. Rubin as well as an opportunity to see the exhibition.
In January 2010, photographer Seth Rubin joined the non-governmental organization International Community for the Relief of Starvation and Suffering (ICROSS) for six weeks in Kenya, learning of and documenting their valuable work. The images presented here were taken during these memorable weeks (with the exception of one from the beaches of Cape Verde off Africa’s west coast).
When back at home in Washington DC,
Rubin enjoys the excitement of meeting new clients and creating beautiful and
memorable wedding and portrait photographs.
His personal work involves travel and landscape/nature photography. Most recently, he was awarded by National
Geographic Traveler for one of his photographs from the exciting beaches of Tarrafal, Cape
