Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Festival!
Volunteers are the backbone of the festival and are crucial to running successful events. We welcome you to sign up to volunteer for any program during the Festival. Most events will take place at the Washington DCJCC; E.L. Doctorow will be at Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center and Dan Savage will be at Foundry United Methodist Church.
There are various jobs to suit your skills and areas of interest: ticket seller, will-call, greeter and more! We also appreciate your flexibility to lend a hand where necessary at each event.
As a thank you for volunteering for us, you will receive one free ticket to an event of your choice for each time you volunteer, subject to availability.
Please note: you may not be able to attend the program for which you volunteer. Do not volunteer for a program you want to attend.
the entire Festival line up at washingtondcjcc.org/litfest!

Be a top volunteer recruiter!
If you recruit three or more friends to volunteer at the Hyman S. & Freda Bernstein Jewish Literary Festival, you will earn an additional free event ticket.
