Join the EDCJCC to pack groceries bags for Food Justice DMV!

Food Justice DMV is a volunteer collective delivering food & standing in solidarity with thousands of immigrant neighbors. Rooted in justice and solidarity, Food Justice DMV supports more than 8,000 families who are asylum seekers or undocumented. They help fill a critical need serving families that otherwise are hesitant to reach out to larger organizations due to their immigration status and language barriers. 

What: Spend your evening packing grocery bags that Food Justice DMV's weekly food delivery volunteers will distribute to folks they serve.

When: Thursday, June 8, 5:45-8:00PM. Volunteers must agree to come to the entirety of the program to participate. 

Where: This program is located in the Columbia Heights neighborhood in NW DC. Exact address will be provided with registration

Requirements: All volunteers must wear a KN-95/N-95 mask throughout the volunteer shift. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone.
