WJMF: Anat Cohen Quartet
Israeli clarinetist Anat Cohen has taken the jazz world by storm, winning a wealth of accolades for her expressive virtuosity and stage presence and has appeared at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and others premiere venues. Cohen and her quartet play a range of genres, from Afro-Cuban and Latin jazz to klezmer and contemporary Brazilian. The New York Times describes Cohen as “a clarinetist of reliable ebullience” and “a revelation.”
