At the beginning of the 21st Century, as Israel withdraws from Southern Lebanon after 18 years, soldiers in an IDF unit stationed at the 12th-Century Crusader stronghold of Beaufort Castle face complex moral and tactical dilemmas. The film chronicles the soldiers’ daily routine, feelings and fears. Based on film co-writer Ron Leshem’s book, If There’s a Heaven and Cedar’s own army experience. 2007, 35mm, feature, 120 minutes.
