Baking Sweets for D25 2019
Your home

Cookie drive

On Christmas Day, Edlavitch DCJCC volunteers serve clients at over 40 social service agencies in the DC-metro area. In several locations, volunteers are throwing holiday parties to bring smiles and cheer - and we bring sweet treats to make these a truly special experience.

We need your help to bake sweets and treats for volunteers to deliver to a D25 project. Store-bought treats are just as terrific!

What are we looking for?
Cookies, brownies, blondies, rice crispie treats...anything that can be enjoyed as an individual bite (no pies or cakes please). Please bake in sets of a dozen as much as possible. The less crumbly the better to ensure that they arrive in one piece.

How should you pack them?
Please pack treats to minimize crumbling and breaking. Boxes and tins are great, and we request that treats are wrapped in plastic or foil to preserve freshness. Please label the outside clearly with “D25 baked goods”. If your goodies contain nuts, please also label clearly.

When do we need them?
Please drop off your baked goods at the Edlavitch DCJCC, located at 1529 16th Street, NW, between December 16 and 23.

Please click on Sign Me Up! and indicate how many sweet treats you will be donating in the ticket line to help us keep track.

Thank you for your donation of treats to make the holidays sweeter for everyone!
