Join sports reporter and Capitals radio host Ben Raby as he discusses his own professional journey while sharing behind-the-scenes stories from his new book, '100 Things Capitals Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die.'

Books will be available for purchase and there will be a book signing at this event.

About Ben Raby

Ben Raby is a broadcast and print sports journalist based out of Washington, D.C. BenRabyHeadShot.jpgHe is currently in his eighth season as part of the broadcast team on the Washington Capitals Radio Network. Raby is the host of the broadcast’s pregame, intermission and postgame shows.

In addition to his on-air work with Monumental Sports and Entertainment, Raby serves as a sports anchor on Washington's WTOP 103.5FM and on Sirius XM Radio.

In September 2016, he signed with Triumph Books to author '100 Things Capitals Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die.' The book was released in November 2017.

Since moving to Washington, D.C. in 2009, Raby has primarily covered the Capitals, Nationals, Wizards and NCAA Basketball for both broadcast and print media outlets. He has also served as a Capitals correspondent for, and The Washington Post Express while also contributing to, The Associated Press, The Washington Times, Toronto Star, Canadian Press and Montreal Gazette.

Raby was born and raised in Montreal. He received a Masters Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University.
