Rooftop Soiree: An Evening to Support Community Service
Join us for an evening under the stars to learn about food waste and support the Edlavitch JCC's Morris Cafritz Center for Community Service.
Mother Nature loves bumps, curves, weird shapes, and odd sizes—especially in its fruits and veggies. Commercial standards think otherwise. Six billion pounds of “ugly” produce is wasted in the US every year.
We are teaming up with Misfit Juicery to serve you “misfit mimosas,” draw for door prizes*, and introduce you to the impact made by our volunteers every day.
Mimosas, beer, wine, and finger food will be served.
*Door prize packages include:
- One-night stay in a lavish Dupont Circle AirBnB with fresh flowers from A Little Shop of Flowers
- Dinner at your choice of The Commissary, Logan Tavern, or Grillfish and a Theater J Show
- A 90-minute massage by Lisa Glassman and a 6-month gym membership to the Edlavitch JCC
- A private photo shoot by Lloyd Wolf Photography and a custom frame package from Hall of Frames
Additional door prize tickets sold separately.
Please note: the event will take place rain or shine, and tickets can be purchased at the door via cash or check.
We can't wait to see you there!
