What's the difference between the Torah and the Talmud? Where do those weekly readings from the Prophets actually come from? Just how many books are there?

Explore and engage with the world of traditional Jewish text through a modern lens with other curious learners.

Rabbi Eric Stark is the National Deputy Director, Synagogue Initiative at AIPAC and has been teaching "Torah Your Rabbi Didn't Teach You" at EntryPointDC's After Dark program for the past three years. He was ordained at HUC-JIR and began his career at Temple Oheb Shalom in Baltimore, where he was on the cutting edge of young adult outreach, creating the award winning “Downtown Shabbat.” Since leaving Baltimore Rabbi Eric has held executive positions at the Union for Reform Judaism, the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, and the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center. While excited to be living in DC, he remains a Detroiter at heart and eternally optimistic that the Detroit Lions will win a Super Bowl in his lifetime.
