Food Stamp Counseling-Training
Washington DCJCC

Dear Volunteer,

The Food Stamp Counseling is a program designed to help the hungry in Washington DC. This program is designed help families apply for Food Stamps.

The Food Stamps application is difficult and confusing. People who are eligible don't always know about the program, and when they do, the barriers to signing up prevent many of them from completing the process. Our program will train you to advise people on the application process and turn a long ordeal of registering for Food Stamps into an easier process. Whether it is once a month or once a week, this will be a helpful and valuable use of your volunteer time.

Together, we can help alleviate hunger.

Please join us at the 16th Street J to learn how to help on October 22 from 7:00-9:00pm.

Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

We're sorry, the deadline for registering for this event has passed.
