PARENTING CENTER WORKSHOP
BEFORE BABY: AN EVENING FOR EXPECTING PARENTS
*Featuring the debut of Baby Box distribution in DC!*
Wednesday, April 5, 2017 || 7:00-9:00 pm
FREE, but pre-registration is required and space is limited
Join the EDCJCC’s Before Baby team for an evening of discussion, resources, and connection around impending parenthood. Learn about prenatal self-care, post-partum red flags, childbirth and baby care basics, activities and support for after the baby arrives, and more, while meeting local experts and forming community with other new parents-to-be.
Participants who complete a short online education program in advance will each receive a FREE Baby Box, an eco-friendly new baby starter kit that doubles as a safe sleep space. Each Baby Box includes a custom mattress with fitted sheet that can be used as a bassinet for the first few months, and also includes new parent essentials such as diapers and more.
Biological and adoptive, gay or straight, single or couple, Jewish or non-Jewish – all are welcome to get ready for parenthood at the Edlavitch DCJCC!
Once you register by clicking on the link below, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to complete the online educational program and reserve your Baby Box. Baby Box reservations must be received by April 4 at 10pm. If you don't receive a confirmation email once you complete your registration, please email Miriam at email@example.com.
Please note: You must attend the event on April 5 to receive your Baby Box. Unfortunately, we cannot arrange for alternative pick-ups.
