Featuring a special reading of the new play
KEN LUDWIG’S DEAR JACK, DEAR LOUISE
Join us for an exclusive sneak peek of the newest play by two-time Tony nominee and Olivier Award winner Ken Ludwig (Crazy For You, Lend Me a Tenor, Baskerville, A Fox On the Fairway).
An effervescent and delightful romance, Dear Jack, Dear Louise
tells the true story of the courtship of Ludwig’s own parents. It is
1942, and U.S. Army Captain Jacob S. Ludwig, stationed in Oregon, has
become pen pals with Louise Rabiner, an aspiring actress in New York
City. Through letters, notes, and telegrams, the young Jewish lovers
must find their way toward each other—even though they have never met.
Don’t miss this concert reading of a hilarious and surprising new play
by D.C.’s own master of comedy.
