Reservations required.

In the spirit and fun of the holiday of Purim (March 20), join us for a session on baking.

We will share memories and make new ones with our hands in the dough.

Come prepared to get flour on your clothes and create fillings for hamentashen, the traditional three-cornered dough cookies. They are often filled with poppy seed (mohn), but we will have other fillings to enhance these treats.

It is customary to give shalach manot (goody baskets) with hamentashen, fruits and candies to friends and neighbors. W will prepare this delicious Purim pastry and carry on a beautiful Jewish tradition.

Facilitator: Jean Graubart who has been baking these treats for over 30 years.
