This 3-4 hour comprehensive course designed to certify you in CPR. Participants will be taught methods on adult and child manikins. You will learn to recognize the signs of 4 major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest, and choking.
The course objective is to increase survival from sudden cardiac arrest by preparing participants to phone 911 and provide early CPR and early defibrillation. Strengthen early access, early CPR and early AED use in the links of the Chain of Survival.

This is a free course taught by Rescue-One and paid for through a grant from Serve DC, the Mayor's Office on Volunteerism. Space is limited. Please only register if you plan to attend.
