Microdistillery Nahmias et Fils is bringing their traditional Moroccan fig liquor to bars and liquor stores across DC this fall, and they're bringing us a sneak behind-the-scenes peak!

Distillery owners David and Dorit will share David's family's history of mahia distilling- and the culture that developed this "water of life" and made it part of the Moroccan lifestyle for both Jews and Muslims.

We'll taste the distillery's traditional fig and anise recipe and get to sample some creative modern cocktails that you'll soon find in our local DC bars!

$20 in advance, $25 at the door- walk-ins are welcome this evening
