Selected Shorts is a weekly public radio show broadcast on more than 150 stations around the country. It is produced by Symphony Space and distributed by Public Radio International. The radio show began in 1985 at Symphony Space on Broadway and 95th Street in New York City and enjoys sold-out performances to this day. Grenier is most often recognized as the ethically challenged family
lawyer David Lee on The Good Wife. He has also played series regulars on
C16:FBI and Touching Evil, had recurring roles on 24, Deadwood,
BrainDead, and appeared in Turks and Caicos, the second installment in
David Hare’s BBC thriller The Worricker Trilogy. His film credits
include A Shock to the System, Tommy Boy, Donnie Brasco, Fight Club,
Zodiac, and J. Edgar. On stage, he was most recently seen as
Mephistopheles in Doctor Faustus at Classic Stage Company. Previous
stage credits include Cromwell in A Man for All Seasons at the
Roundabout Theatre Company and the role of Dick Cheney in David Hare’s
Stuff Happens at the New York Shakespeare Festival. He was nominated for
a Tony Award for his portrayal of Beethoven in Moisés Kaufman’s 33
Variations.
James Naughton has won Tony Awards as Best Actor in a Musical for City of Angels and Chicago. On Broadway, he directed the Tony-nominated production of Arthur Miller's The Price and Thornton Wilder's Our Town, starring Paul Newman. He also directed the television production of Our Town for Showtime and Masterpiece Theatre. Holly Twyford is
an actress and director in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. She
is a four-time Helen Hayes Award recipient for her performances in Romeo and Juliet and The Two Gentlemen of Verona at the Folger Shakespeare Library, The Shape of Things at Studio Theatre, and The Little Dog Laughed
at the Signature Theatre. Additionally, she was honored with the
Shakespeare Theatre Company's Emery Battis Award for Acting Excellence,
and is a Lunt-Fontanne Fellow as well as a charter member of the Studio
Cabinet. She has appeared in several independent films, including John
Waters’ Pecker, and on the small screen in Homicide: Life on the Street and House of Cards.
Ms. Twyford has directed productions at Adventure Theatre, the Studio
Theatre’s 2ndStage, Factory 449, and No Rules Theatre Company. Most
recently, Twyford appeared as Martha in the acclaimed production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at the Ford’s Theatre.
