Growing Older, Growing Bolder
“Making a Scene: Growing Older, Growing Bolder,” three days
of renowned speakers and compelling conversations
addressing topics that are relevant and timely for people at all stages of the
aging process, will kick off the Edlavitch DCJCC’s new Words and Ideas program this fall. Featured guests are Sheila Nevins, President of HBO
Documentary Films;
New Yorker cartoonist and author Roz Chast; actor, director, and author Alan Alda; and producer and director Peter L. Stein. Events will be held at
the Katzen Arts Center at American University and onsite at the Edlavitch DCJCC.
We are offering a Symposium
Pass that allows you to attend all four of these events at a deep discount.
TICKETS
$125.00 (+$1.50 fee) -Member Pass
$140.00 (+$1.50 fee) -Non-member Pass
$185.00 (+$1.50 fee) -VIP Pass (includes exclusive meet-and-greet receptions, signed books, and VIP seating)

- Get full access to all four events
- To guarantee a seat at any of the programs please indicate which programs you plan to attend in the pop-up questions following your purchase or email Shirleys@edcjcc.org at least three days before the program. Pass holders may attend an event without a reservation, but will not be guaranteed a spot unless they RSVP ahead of time.
- Passes are non-transferable. No physical passes will be issued. Please bring a photo ID when using your symposium pass.
